1. Give students a midterm review. I send each student a message through WebCT to tell them their midterm average, let them know of any work they have missed, and share with them any concerns I have about their performance, class participation, attendance, etc. I ask them if they need any assistance in particular from me. They are asked to share any concerns they have about the class and give me feedback as well. Midterm is a great opportunity for them and you to take stock of class progress!
